We have officially moved!

The Kennepohl Group has officially moved from UBC to the University of Calgary. Although our labs are still in the process of moving out of UBC, our centre of operations is now at the University of Calgary where renovations are going smoothly. We anticipate being up and running again in August.

Weiying He will be presenting tonight's Inorganic Discussion Group seminar. He will talk about his work on characterizing the bonding in nickel pi complexes and defining how their unique bonding affects reactivity.

We have some exciting news! In 2020, we will be moving to the University of Calgary! We are particularly excited about the prospect of creating a new (in-house) laboratory for x-ray spectroscopy and exploring new collaborative research opportunities.

We are pleased to welcome Hugo Guillou into the group for the summer. Hugo is a master's engineering student at CESI Pau in France and he is spending a few months with us to work on developing new materials for lithium capture. Bienvenue au Canada, Hugo!
